About Makhdooma Malik

Art is my favourite subject and I have had the pleasure of studying Art at University; I especially savour planning my final Art Exhibitions, as this is my opportunity to present my work to a wider audience. I am currently studying Fine Art at Loughborough University. The Fine Art BA (Hons) degree is a fast paced course and has helped me to challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone. I have done metal, wood, ceramics and plastic workshops which have benefited immensely. I developed 2D/ 3D work and installations during my Art and Design Foundation Studies. I am a Photorealist Artist who has a passion to paint kitsch objects, sweet wrappers and confectionery items with vibrant and intense colours. I make abstract paintings on circular canvases. I can present the world of sweets through oil paint using my own unique combination of colour and texture. My work allows me to explore new techniques and express myself. I create customized paintings for my clients.
